The 2007 North American International Auto Show has become an event of glamour, fashion and technology. With all the celebrities and who’s who that attended the event you would have mistaken it for the Grammy’s. But of course the NAIAS is not about the beautiful celebrities but about the cars that will make their world debuts. The North American International Auto Show also reflects the technological breakthroughs that the car industry has achieved.

Various car gadgets and gizmos that increase safety and driving comfort were featured. Take for instance dashboard screens that can do it all, like control your radio, control your climate, control your navigational system, control your DVD playback, etc. –example of this is BMW X5′s iDrive System.

A good navigational system is a plus in any car and for this year the system was made even better—its voice activated and Acura just happen to be offering it. According to Jessica Fini, Spokeswoman of Acura, “As long as you don’t have all the windows down and the radio cranked up, it’s pretty good at hearing you.”

Not to be left out, Nick Cappa, DaimlerChrysler’s Manager for Advanced Technology has also expressed that their company will also be offering the same navigational technology. He said, “We’d love to do this in the next few years. There are Vehicle Infrastructure Integrationcq-recinto tests going on now.”

Entertainment particularly music has for years become a vital part of a pleasurable driving experience and for this year the automakers at the North American International Auto Show has taken the car music system to another level when they presented in-dash, hard drive based music systems that will only involve a USB drive or a rip CD. The benefit of this is that you no longer have to be carrying your CD collections which often end up making a mess in the car. The QX56 sports-utility vehicle and the G35 sedan are offering a music system that can store up to 3,000 songs.

Safety features have also been upgraded and this time it works with the driver rather than taking over. Although there have been previously presented braking systems that make use of sensors that put vehicles to a halt once it sense that an accident is about to happen. And for this year automaker’s has added more features on the braking system that can sense lights, sound, even physical nudges to let the driver know that something is obstructing the road up ahead. Some of the cars that preview such braking system includes: Infiniti which pre-pressurizes the brake system when it senses a vehicle that suddenly stops ahead, Acura’s Collision Mitigation Braking System which flashes a Brake light, dings at the driver, tugs at the seatbelt and then finally tightens up the seat belt and then brakes when a crash is about to happen.

Well since it’s only been 2 and half months and you guys are not saying I love you, then I don’t feel it’s necessary for you to buy them a very expensive gift. I also don’t think you should do anything too romantic. The reason for this is because they are more meaningful when both partners love each other and plus we have Valentines Day coming up, as well as your 6 month anniversary. So save some of your more romantic ideas for those times.

Yes, this is pretty vague so I can’t tell you anything specific unless you tell me what he/she really likes. I’m sure there’s more that he likes than the cinemas and sports. What you can do is think of something he/she is interested in, likes, or really cares about and give him/her something related to that. Also you have to understand it’s hard to buy them a gift that shows how much you care.

You might be better off doing something sweet like making them a picture frame and putting a picture of you two in it. If you would like you could writing something sweet on the frame. You could also buy a tiny Christmas tree and put little ornaments on it. On each ornament you can put pictures of things he/she likes, things that remind you both of memories you had together, little phrases, etc. And then say something like I couldn’t afford to give you everything you wanted, so here’s a tree that includes it all. Something likes that.

You could also give him/her a really nice gift you know he/she would like. Such as a watch or something. A gift that most people wouldn’t turn down. And then put it in a little box, that’s inside of a huge box. Duct tape the whole thing and make it very hard to open. Then wrap it up and make it look all pretty. And you could put a note next to your present saying something like “This present is hard to get into, just like my heart, but somehow you did it”.

It’s a fun gift and its fun to open the gift together. So you might have better luck making him/her a gift that shows how much you care, cause a gift that’s bought is usually hard to represent that.

You can always go out to dinner or stay home and make them a romantic dinner. You guys can rent movies and spend a nice time together. You could also try going to an amusement park or doing something you both enjoy. It all depends on how you look at what the two of you can do for fun.

You said that they like to watch football then take them to see a football game or you can order one from the TV. Then you could make a nice lunch or dinner for the two of you at the house. So it doesn’t necessarily have to be a gift. That might be the best way to go, if it’s really that difficult to find him/she a gift they will like. You could also give them a gift card or something and he/she could do whatever he/she likes with that.

About three years ago, I received a vacation offer in the mail. The offer said that if I agreed to sit through a 90 minute timeshare presentation, then I would get a free Bahamas vacation with several days in Florida. A free vacation sounded very appealing to me at that time because I was desperate for a getaway. I decide to accept the offer so I purchased my airfare and began to look forward to my Bahamas vacation. I thought that I could easily sit through 90 minutes of the presentation, say no, and be done with it.

I was really looking forward to the promised luxury hotel, free transportation and tickets to some happenings. My husband had some doubts about the offer but he was still as excited as I was. He told me that this might turn out to be something other than I was expecting, even though he was also looking forward to his time in the sun.

On the other hand, I was busy dreaming about the enjoyment, fun and relaxation of the amazing Bahamas vacation offer. We were to take a day cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas and then would be greeted when we arrive. I have been told to expect a cruise that was incredibly nice on the offer. However, I felt like I was on a tour boat with lots of others crowded into a small area. I was not very impressed with the initial part of my vacation.

Unfortunately, my husband’s suspicions seemed to be coming true because we spent the day with horrible entertainment, expensive food and fighting for a spot in the sun. My Bahamas vacation wasn’t starting off too wonderfully. However, I played it off because I didn’t want my husband to know that I was starting to have doubts.

We finally arrived at the port in the Bahamas after a less than pleasant journey. We were driven to our designated hotel and I couldn’t wait to see what the hotel was like. However, my Bahamas vacation was still not going well because the hotel was far from luxury. It was nice, but not something I would have paid to stay at so I was very disappointed.

However, I was determined to make the most of my vacation and enjoy it. We spent lots of time in the sun and did the normal touristy things. I convinced my husband to go with me on the dolphin excursion. It was a wonderful experience and we actually got to swim with the dolphins. That was the best part of my Bahamas vacation.

We showed up for our 90 minute meeting on the day of the timeshare meeting. It was a bit annoying because the speeches were very long, pushy and lasted for almost 3 hours. It almost seemed as if they wouldn’t let us leave until someone took the bait. My husband decided that he had enough after 3 agonizing hours, so he stood up and said that we were leaving. My Bahamas vacation was not exactly what I’d been hoping for.

The book of Bhrigu, or the Bhrigu Samhita is a real book, written several thousands of years ago, during an age the Hindus call the Vedic Period.

This is when the Vedas, of their Holy Books were being written. Maharshi Bhrigu (Maharshi meaning Great Rishi, or Saint) compiled the horoscopes of all the people who would consult the book, for all time. Hard to believe? Read on.

Maharshi Bhrigu is believed to be the first person to record horoscopes that predicted a person’s future.

However, as Hinduism and most Eastern thought embraces the principle of reincarnation, the Saint’s astrology covered a person’s past, present and future existences. It is said the Maharshi recorded some 500,000 horoscopes, and life histories with the help of Sri Lord Ganesha. The 500,000 horoscopes resulted in about 45,000,000 permutations, and this is what is in the book today.

The Claims of the Book of Bhrigu

o The horoscope of anyone destined to find the real Book of Bhrigu is already within it.

o There is only real original copy, and its actual location is held secret. There are several copies that have been made throughout history, but many are frauds and many just totally inaccurate.

The Book of Bhirgu has always been the property of the Bhramin caste, and as India was invaded, conquered, and dominated by various races, the Book went underground to keep it intact for future generations.

Also during the various invasions the Bhramin castes were disbursed throughout India and the sub-continent, and copies of the Book of Bhrigu went with them.

Always one special priest was trained in the Maharshi Bhrigu’s sciences, and learned how to (a) locate someone who had come to consult the book, and (b) how to interpret the readings. This required a life-long study, so always new priests are being prepared to carrying on after a resident priest dies or retires.

The Real Book of Bhrigu and Frauds

Sadly, India is not only home and repository of a great amount of the world’s wisdom, it is also the home of some of the most immoral people to as in all countries.

These unscrupulous people have made unreal copies of what appears to be a real Book of Bhrigu, but are only fakes. Usually peddled to foreigners, and diaspora Indians (who cannot read and write Sanskrit) great sums of money are often extorted in schemes to reveal but fantasies from the swindler’s mind.

A real book of Bhrigu will be held in a shrine, entrusted to a high Bhramin family, whose head is the resident priest…or else in an ashram. No real money will be asked from you to do a reading, although you may make a small contribution to the Priest’s family.

Your name (a Sanskrit transliteration) will be in the book. So if you are lucky enough to locate a real book of Bhrigu, you should take along a trusted person who can read and write Sanskrit (to validate the priest’s claims).

A fraud will ask you to return, ask for money in increasing amounts, and suggest solutions to your life that are too easy to believe (pay for your sins). Before you go, make sure that you have enough information that the place and person you visit are real.

As a guide, you should know that the original Book of Bhrigu will contain the horoscope of any individual you has been destined to consult it, and it will predict the past, present and future, revealing also clearly the consulting day, time and date of the individual along with the remedial measures needed to correct his or her life.

I was contacted by one of my book readers from the most populous city in Nigeria, which in turn, is the largest country in Africa.

He asked if there was a way that I could bring my seminars to his country.

Let me digress for a moment, to share my philosophy with you with regard to international speaking and presenting opportunities. I can sum it up in one phrase:

What I read there blew me away. Not only are there rampant kidnappings of executives and others, but marauding POLICE and MILITARY officers, in full uniform, also freelance in human trafficking.

In a word, your security as a speaker, seminar leader, presenter, or even tourist, is non-existent.

You’re taking a big risk by accepting this kind of assignment.

Do yourself a favor if you’re considering international business. Consult the available resources before even entering preliminary negotiations, because the ultimate bargain you might be striking is: “Your speech or your life!”
